Cookie policy
This is a translation of the Spanish original, provided for your convenience. If there is any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer.
Here we explain which cookies velarhome.co uses, what they're for and how you can accept them, reject them or change your mind whenever you like. We follow article 22.2 of Ley 34/2002 (LSSI, the Spanish Information Society Services and E-commerce Act) and the Guide on the use of cookies published by the Spanish Data Protection Agency, AEPD (updated in May 2024).

What are cookies?
They are small files and similar technologies (such as the browser's local storage or pixels) that store and read information on your device while you browse. They are used, for example, so that the basket remembers what you've added, to know how many people visit the website or to show you ads related to what you've viewed.
Who uses them?
Velar Home, through Shopify, the platform the shop runs on. And also some third parties we work with: Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, Microsoft (Clarity) and Klaviyo. Each of them processes the information according to its own policy, which you'll find linked below.
Types of cookies we use
These are the same groups you'll see in the preferences panel:
- Required (technical): they make the shop work (basket, payment, security, remembering your cookie choice). They don't need your consent and can't be turned off from the panel.
- Personalisation: they remember details of your visit to personalise the next one. They're only activated if you accept them.
- Analytics: they tell us how many people visit the website and how they use it, so we can improve it. They're only activated if you accept them.
- Marketing: they let us measure our ads and show you advertising related to your browsing on other websites and social networks. They're only activated if you accept them.

How to accept, reject or change your choice
The first time you visit, a notice lets you accept all cookies, reject them or configure them by type. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and the shop works just the same: you'll simply stop seeing personalised advertising from us.
You can change your mind whenever you like from the Cookie settings link, which is also in the footer of every page. We keep your choice for 12 months. After that, we'll ask you again.
Please note that if you accept third-party cookies and later want to delete them, you'll need to do so from your browser's options or through the system offered by the third party itself. This is how to do it in the most widely used browsers:
